I hope you had a Merry Christmas and this letter finds you happy, healthy, and excited for the new year! As you know, in the past the Missouri Retired Teachers Foundation (MRTF) has sent an address label fundraiser to MRTA members each spring. The MRTF Board met on December 11, 2018, and voted to hold a raffle instead of the label campaign for 2019. We will still offer mailing labels to those interested for a minimum donation of $25. Please see form below if you would like labels.

I am very excited to introduce the $10,000 MRTF Raffle! All proceeds benefit the MRTF Classroom Grant Program and one lucky winner will win $10,000! There will be a live drawing for the winner at the March 13th MRTA Unit President Summit.

Enclosed with this newsletter should be a sheet of 8 raffle tickets.

RULES & INFORMATION

Tickets can be purchased by anyone over the age of 18.

You do NOT need to be present to win.

Tickets are $10 each or 6 tickets for $50.

Checks should be made payable to MRTF and mailed to MRTF at 3030 DuPont Circle, Jefferson City, MO 65109. If you do not have tickets and want to send in a check please include a note confirming the check is for the raffle and a staff person will fill out the tickets for you.

No tickets? Just call the office at 1-877-366-6782 or email joycebare@mrta.org and request them to be mailed to you.

Please mail tickets by March 4th to be received and processed for the live drawing on March 13th. Any other tickets can be brought to the MRTA Unit President Summit.

All proceeds benefit the Missouri Retired Teachers Foundation Classroom Grant Fund.
